At Candlemaid, we think carefully about every material we use, not just how it smells.

 

Our candles are made in small batches using plant-based wax, clean-burning wicks and carefully selected fragrance materials chosen for both quality and performance. Each element is chosen with the aim of creating a calm, balanced scent experience that feels natural within the home.

 

Where possible we prioritise materials that support a thoughtful approach to home fragrance:

Working at a small scale allows us to remain selective about what goes into every candle and to keep our process simple and considered. Rather than adding more ingredients we focus on choosing fewer materials and choosing them well,  allowing each scent to develop gently as the candle burns and fills a space with quiet atmosphere.
